Level 1 Fundamentals of Shamanism

The Fundamentals of Shamanism is a 6-class module that introduces you to the essential principles of Shamanic spirit medicine. After completing Level 1 Fundamentals of Shamanism, you will have the experience and confidence to journey safely and effectively to the upper and lower world and return to normal waking reality with enhanced clarity and grounding.
In the very first class you will learn the importance of shaman’s horse (drum) do a meditation to connect with the drum and get a name for it if your drum don’t have a name yet.
If you don’t have a drum yet don’t be concerned about it, there are numerous links that I will share to assist you with your journeys to get you started, or you can just revisit a class and use one of the journeys for your required journey.
In this class you will learn how to undertake a Shamanic journey at the beat of a drum. All the following classes will have 3 – 4 shamanic journeys per class.
You will learn how to clean your space before you start journey work. In this module you will learn how to work with your power Animal, upper world teacher and a Benevolent wise Ancestor spirit to discover the right use of spiritual power, divination, spiritual grounding and more. The fundamentals of Shamanism will open you to the remarkable world of Shamanic self-healing and set the foundation to effectively apply the wisdom of Shamanism in your daily life.

Level 2 Self-protection and self-control/discipline

To help others and live a healthy life we must first learn to seal our personal container and discern what to let in and what to keep out. This training is especially important for healers and empaths who often find that they are taking on the energetic and sometimes physical symptoms of their clients.
The essence of the Shamanic self-protection and self-control/discipline training helps to keep healing practitioners healthy, clear and balanced for the long haul while offering support and healing services to others. So many healing practitioners suffer from burn out after providing years of service. This unique methodology allows practitioners to work in a balanced, sustainable and energy enhancing way.
The curriculum involves a series of journeys where you will learn to work with 10 different spirit Animal medicines. You will receive deep personal healing and learn to free yourself from self-limiting patterns that have prevented you from reaching your full potential. You will learn to reprogram imprints in your limbic brain to set a template that will allow you to help others while maintaining your own health, balance & vitality.

Level 3 State-of-the-art Shamanic Healing

As you progress on your Shamanic journey, we delve deeper into State-of-the-art Shamanic Healing practices such as Shamanic extraction techniques, soul retrieval and psychopomp. We also go deeper into the services/practices a death Doula can offer.
You will learn how to develop your own session protocol and start your own healing practice by observing a demo session and performing a model session yourself. An integral part of this module is a private one-on-one video conference with Yvette in which we review and debrief both your model session and apprenticeship experience in general and discuss your unique gifts and how to apply them on your path forward. In our meeting you will receive guidance and feedback for your further practice and study.
Graduates from this course will then have completed
• Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Fostering the Etheric body
They will then have completed the spirit Shamanic course and will be a certified Shamanic Spirit Medicine Practitioner, capable of holding their own Shamanic sessions for clients.

This course compliments your Shamanic apprenticeship training in a very important way. The Knowledge and insights you gain from this training will help you to build energetic immunity; keep your energy body healthy, clear and grounded and balance the outward pull of shamanic journey work with an inward drawing of vital life force energy.
You will learn the essential principals governing the energy body and develop proficiency in a profound effective yet simple energy body maintenance routine that Yvette developed by combining breath work, kundalini energy and tai chi healing arts.
The course combines lecture with a series of breathwork, movement, and meditation exercises that build upon each other in succession to help gain proficiency in how to focus and direct the flow of internal energy. The ongoing practice of these techniques is essential to cultivate vitality, immunity and longevity as well as for interfacing effectively with and developing a deeper understanding of energies that are often released by a client in a healing session.

Plant medicine Teaching/ Learning of the medicinal plants - Level 1
Course fees – R8 500.00
In this course we will work closely with some of the medicinal plants that are used in ceremonial spaces; we will journey to the spirit of each plant and make allies with these plants and other herbs. This course will teach you more about the use and uses of these plants to ensure they are used in right alignment with the web of life and not only used because someone want to use it. All these plants have powerful healing abilities when used in the proper manner. When you enrolled; you will receive tablets (microdosing). In our first class we will talk about the how to and why. Plant medicines are beautiful to work with and there are many ways to work with the pants and their spirits. You will learn more about each plant and its origins.

Plant medicine Practical part of plant medicine and usage - Level 2
Course fees – R23 500.00
This course includes all the medicines that will be used in a ceremonial space. In this course we will work hand in hand with each plant, love it, cook it, extracts it, nurture it and then use it in a ceremonial space. If the student by the end of each medicine don’t feel called to use the medicine, please don’t. All these medicines can be stored for 2 + years so please don’t feel that you must use it you will still receive your certificate on completion of this course. I will always be available to assist you once you feel you are ready to use the medicine. Let the medicine talk to you. All will be required to journey the day before and ask permission from the medicine to use it. The dieta we studied in the previous course will now be used +/- 2 weeks prior to the use of the medicines. If you would like to start your dieta sooner it is also in line, whatever you feel called to do.

They will then have completed the spirit Shamanic course as well as the plant medicinal course and will be a certified Shamanic Spirit and Plant Medicine Practitioner, capable of holding their own Shamanic sessions for clients; hosting ceremonies and use plant medicine in practice if called to do so.

Ayahuasca, a medical screening will be required before using the medicine paid by student self. If you are only going to cook the medicine, then it will not be required. This will be a 2-day event. The medicine takes a long time to cook so it will only be used the following night. This will be over a weekend that suits at least 80% of the students if you can’t make it the first time, please advise us prior so that we can host a second session for the rest of the group. If you are not going to use the medicine also, please advise us before the time so that all bookings made can be arranged accordingly. For those not taking the medicine, you are welcome to stay and keep the space or you are welcome to depart after the cooking of the medicine. But all arrangements will be well communicated way in advance. |

- In person – 6 ceremonies over a period of 5 and a half months. Ceremonies will be a month apart due to the afterglow the last ceremony will be 2 weeks after the Ayahuasca ceremony where all can share if they are called to do so.

Can I Practice Professionally
after I complete The Shamanic Apprenticeship training?
Yes. Most of the graduates are practicing as full-time healing arts professionals. Some use shamanic practices combined with SSM and other healing modalities in which they trained. Some use the bases of the spirit practice and use it in retreat settings; some open space for plant medicine with these practices to ensure plant medicines are given in right alignment.
